May 2000 Update: The Roofman robber is now operating in new areas of California. There have been two recent robberies attributed to Roofman. On April 23rd a McDonald's was robbed in Clovis, Fresno County and on April 27th a Taco Bell was robbed in Novato, Marin County. Both robberies were consistent with other "Roofman" robberies. On May 13th a hole was discovered in the roof of a Taco Bell in Placer County. The hole was consistent with holes found at "Roofman" robberies.
